Product Overview
The Siemens LMV52 Burner Combustion Manager is a high-performance combustion control system designed for medium to large industrial burners operating on gas, oil, or dual fuel. It integrates burner management, flame supervision, load control, and electronic fuel-air ratio control into a single intelligent system.
The LMV52 builds on the capabilities of the LMV51 system and adds advanced features such as oxygen trim control and variable frequency drive (VFD) integration, allowing burners to automatically optimize combustion efficiency and reduce emissions.
This linkageless burner control system replaces traditional mechanical linkage mechanisms with digital actuator positioning, enabling precise adjustment of fuel and air throughout the burner load range. The system can control up to six actuators, making it ideal for complex combustion systems including low-NOx burners and flue-gas-recirculation (FGR) applications.
The LMV52 is widely used in industrial boilers, process heating equipment, furnaces, and large combustion plants where high efficiency, safety, and emission control are required.

Technical Description
The Siemens LMV52 Burner Combustion Manager is a microprocessor-based burner management system designed for forced-draft burners of medium to high capacity. It integrates flame supervision, burner sequencing, load control, and electronic fuel-air ratio management in a single modular platform.
The system provides linkageless combustion control, allowing independent positioning of air dampers and fuel valves through Siemens SQM actuators. These actuators provide high precision with up to 900 repeatable positions, enabling accurate fuel-air mixture regulation across the burner’s operating range.
The LMV52 also supports oxygen trim control, which continuously adjusts the air-fuel mixture based on flue gas oxygen measurements to maximize efficiency and minimize emissions. Additionally, integrated variable speed drive (VFD) control optimizes combustion air fan performance and reduces energy consumption.
With integrated diagnostics, gas valve proving, and extensive safety monitoring, the LMV52 provides reliable burner operation in demanding industrial environments.
