Technical Description

The Siemens SKP15 gas actuator is an electro-hydraulic actuator designed to operate gas valves in burner systems. It works in combination with VG series gas valve bodies to control gas flow in combustion systems.

When the actuator receives electrical power, it opens the gas valve slowly using hydraulic pressure, allowing controlled gas flow to the burner. When power is interrupted, the actuator immediately closes the valve, ensuring safe shut-off of the gas supply.

The actuator can be installed directly on VG gas valves using four mounting screws on the valve flange, and it does not require additional gaskets or seals.

Optional versions are available with proof-of-closure switches and auxiliary contacts, allowing integration with burner management systems and safety interlocks.
