The Siemens SKP25 series gas actuators are pressure-regulating electro-hydraulic actuators used with VG series gas valve bodies in industrial and commercial burner gas trains. These actuators combine gas pressure regulation and safety shut-off functionality within a compact unit, reducing the number of components required in a burner gas train.
The SKP25 actuator regulates the burner manifold gas pressure according to a predefined setpoint and can also operate as a 1:1 air-to-gas ratio regulator or zero governor in combustion control systems.
During operation, the actuator opens slowly to allow controlled gas flow and closes immediately when power is interrupted, ensuring safe shutdown of the gas supply in fault conditions.
With its modular construction, the SKP25 can be mounted directly on VG series gas valves from ½″ to 6″, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial burner applications including boilers, furnaces, and thermal process equipment.
