The Siemens SKP75 series is used together with Siemens VG series gas valve bodies to regulate burner manifold gas pressure according to combustion air pressure. This allows the system to maintain a constant air-to-gas ratio across the entire burner load range, improving combustion efficiency and safety.

These actuators combine three key functions—safety shut-off, pressure regulation, and air-gas ratio control—within a single device, which reduces the number of components required in a burner gas train and simplifies installation.

The SKP75 actuator opens slowly during operation and closes immediately when power is lost, ensuring safe burner shutdown in emergency or fault conditions.

Technical Description

The Siemens SKP75 actuator regulates burner manifold gas pressure based on the pressure of the combustion air. This differential-pressure control maintains the correct air-fuel mixture without requiring an additional constant gas pressure regulator.

By combining pressure regulation, air-gas ratio control, and safety shut-off within one actuator, the SKP75 significantly reduces the number of valves and fittings required in the gas train. This results in a more compact, efficient, and reliable burner system.
