The Suntec A2L Oil Pump is a two-nozzle oil burner pump designed for industrial and commercial burners that require two independent nozzle lines. The pump integrates two blocking solenoid valves, one for each nozzle outlet, enabling precise fuel control for multi-stage burner operation.

Inside the pump, a precision gear set draws fuel oil from the tank through a built-in filter and transfers it to the nozzle lines through the solenoid valves. A single pressure regulating valve maintains the required fuel pressure while bypassing unused oil back to the return line or suction side depending on the installation configuration.

The A2L pump supports one-pipe and two-pipe fuel systems, allowing flexible installation in different burner setups. The independent solenoid valves allow the burner control system to activate one or both nozzle lines depending on the burner firing sequence.

The pump is compatible with domestic heating oil, kerosene, HVO fuels, and biofuel blends, making it suitable for modern industrial heating systems.

Technical Description

The Suntec A2L Oil Pump uses a gear-driven pumping mechanism connected to the burner motor. As the gear set rotates, fuel oil is drawn from the tank through an integrated filter and delivered to the nozzle lines through two normally-closed solenoid valves.

When the solenoid valves are not energized, the valves remain closed and the pressurized oil is redirected through the pressure regulating valve back to the suction or return line. When a solenoid is activated, the corresponding nozzle line opens and oil flows at the pressure set by the regulator.

Because the two solenoid valves operate independently, the burner control system can activate one nozzle for low fire or both nozzles for high fire, enabling flexible burner operation.
