Product Overview
The Suntec AE Oil Pump is a compact gear pump designed to supply fuel oil from the tank to the burner nozzle at a controlled pressure. It incorporates an internal pressure regulating valve that maintains stable fuel pressure for efficient combustion.
Inside the pump, the gear set draws oil through an integrated filter and transfers it to the regulating valve, which controls the pressure delivered to the nozzle line. Any excess oil that is not required by the burner is automatically returned to the tank or back to the suction side depending on whether the installation uses a two-pipe or one-pipe fuel system.
Unlike pumps with integrated solenoid valves, the AE series does not include a cut-off function, allowing air to be purged easily through the nozzle line during start-up. For systems that require shut-off control, an external solenoid valve must be installed in the fuel line.
The pump is compatible with multiple fuel types including light oil, kerosene, HVO biofuel, and B30 biofuel blends, making it suitable for modern burner systems.

Technical Description
The Suntec AE Oil Pump operates using a gear set driven by the burner motor. As the gears rotate, fuel oil is drawn from the storage tank through the built-in filter and pressurized inside the pump body.
The internal pressure regulating valve ensures that the oil delivered to the burner nozzle remains at the correct pressure. Excess oil is automatically bypassed back to the return line in two-pipe installations or redirected to the suction side in one-pipe installations.
Because the AE pump has no internal cut-off valve, air can be purged through the nozzle line during start-up. This simplifies the priming process and ensures smooth burner ignition.
