The pump uses a gear set that draws oil from the storage tank through an integrated filter and transfers it to an electromagnetic piston pump system. This system allows accurate fuel pressure modulation for efficient burner performance.

Fuel that is not required by the burner is returned through a pressure regulator that maintains the minimum pressure in the system. When the modulating solenoid coil is energized, the piston moves in a reciprocating motion that increases oil pressure in the nozzle line.

The output pressure varies linearly with the voltage applied to the solenoid coil, enabling precise burner modulation. An integrated pulsation damper stabilizes the outlet pressure, ensuring smooth and stable fuel delivery.

Technical Description

The Suntec AM Oil Pump operates using a gear set driven by the burner motor, which draws oil from the tank through a built-in filter and transfers it to an electromagnetic piston pump.
