The Suntec AS Oil Pump is a compact oil burner pump designed for light-oil burner systems. It incorporates a built-in solenoid valve that controls the pressure regulator cut-off valve, enabling very fast fuel cut-on and cut-off independent of motor speed.

The internal gear set draws oil from the tank through an integrated filter and transfers it to the regulating valve. This valve maintains the required pressure for the burner nozzle while returning unused oil back to the tank in a two-pipe system or back to the suction side in a single-pipe installation.

When the solenoid valve is not energized, a bypass channel remains open between the pressure and return sides, preventing pressure build-up. Once the solenoid is activated, the bypass closes and pressure quickly rises, ensuring rapid burner ignition. When the burner stops, the solenoid reopens and drains the oil to the return line, providing an immediate and reliable cut-off.

The AS series pump is compatible with light oil, kerosene, HVO fuels, and biofuel blends, making it suitable for modern industrial heating equipment.

Technical Description

The Suntec AS Oil Pump operates using a gear set driven by the burner motor shaft. The rotating gears draw oil through an internal filter and deliver it to the pressure regulating valve, which maintains the required nozzle pressure.

The integrated solenoid valve controls the bypass channel between the pressure and return lines. When activated, it closes the bypass channel and allows pressure to build quickly, enabling rapid burner ignition. When the burner shuts down, the solenoid opens the bypass channel, draining oil to the return line and instantly stopping fuel delivery to the nozzle.

This design ensures stable burner operation, rapid response time, and improved combustion safety in industrial oil burner systems.
