The Suntec AUV Universal Pump is specially developed for the replacement and service market, allowing technicians to replace many standard one-stage burner pumps with a single universal solution. It is commonly used as a replacement for several pump models including Suntec AS 47, AL 35, and ALE 35 series pumps used in oil burner systems.

The pump includes a blocking solenoid valve with a built-in return valve, ensuring reliable in-line fuel cut-off and nozzle line pressure relief during burner shutdown. This improves burner safety and prevents unwanted fuel leakage or pressure buildup in the nozzle line.

Inside the pump, a gear set mechanism draws fuel oil from the tank through an internal filter and transfers it to the burner nozzle line. The pressure regulating valve maintains the required fuel pressure while excess oil is redirected back to the suction side or return line depending on the system configuration.

The AUV pump is compatible with domestic heating oil, kerosene, HVO, and biofuel blends, making it suitable for modern industrial and commercial burner installations.

Technical Description

The Suntec AUV Oil Pump uses a precision gear set driven by the burner motor to draw oil from the tank through a built-in filter. The fuel is then transferred to the burner nozzle line through a normally closed solenoid valve.

When the solenoid valve is energized, it opens and allows oil to flow to the burner nozzle at the pressure set by the regulating valve. When the solenoid is de-energized, the valve closes and the oil is redirected to the suction or return line depending on the installation configuration.

The pump also includes a nozzle line pressure relief device, which releases excess pressure caused by thermal expansion of fuel in the system, ensuring safe burner operation and protecting burner components.
