Product Overview
The Suntec D Oil Pump is designed for industrial burner systems using medium-grade fuel oils and high operating temperatures. It is commonly used in industrial boilers, furnaces, and heating systems where stable fuel pressure and consistent burner performance are required.
The pump incorporates a pressure regulating valve without built-in cut-off function, making it suitable for systems where fuel shut-off is handled by an external solenoid valve installed in the fuel line.
A precision gear set mechanism draws fuel oil from the storage tank through a built-in filter and transfers it to the pressure regulating valve that controls the oil pressure delivered to the burner nozzle.
Excess oil that is not required by the burner is automatically returned to the return line in a two-pipe system or back to the suction side of the pump in a one-pipe installation, ensuring stable pressure control and efficient fuel circulation.
The Suntec D series pump is compatible with fuels such as domestic heating oil, HVO biofuel, and B100 biofuel, and can operate in systems handling fuel viscosity up to 75 cSt and temperatures up to 90°C, making it suitable for demanding industrial heating applications.

Technical Description
The Suntec D Oil Pump operates using a gear set driven by the burner motor that draws oil from the fuel tank through an integrated filter. The oil is transferred to a pressure regulating valve, which controls the pressure supplied to the burner nozzle line.
Any oil that is not delivered to the burner nozzle is automatically returned through the regulating valve either to the return line in a two-pipe installation or back to the suction side of the pump in a one-pipe installation.
The pump does not include an internal cut-off function because of the nozzle bypass design. Therefore, fuel shut-off must be provided using an external in-line solenoid valve installed in the burner fuel line.
For certain gear sizes, a piston with bleed slot is used to prevent pressure build-up in the nozzle line and suction line during shutdown caused by fuel expansion due to heater elements.
