The Suntec TAR Oil Pump is designed for two-stage oil burner systems used in industrial and commercial heating applications. It allows burners to operate at two different pressure levels, enabling low fire and high fire operation for improved energy efficiency and combustion control.
The pump uses a gear-driven mechanism that draws oil from the storage tank through a built-in filter and transfers it to the burner nozzle line. It is equipped with dual pressure regulating valves, which control fuel pressure for each firing stage.
The TAR pump includes a return function that ensures proper fuel circulation and pressure stability. Excess fuel is automatically returned to the tank or suction side depending on the system configuration.
Unlike pumps with integrated solenoid valves, the TAR series may require an external solenoid valve for fuel cut-off, depending on the burner system design.
The pump supports one-pipe and two-pipe installations and is compatible with domestic heating oil, kerosene, HVO biofuel, and B30 blends, making it suitable for modern industrial heating systems.Key Features

Technical Description
The Suntec TAR Oil Pump operates using a gear set driven by the burner motor, drawing oil from the storage tank through an integrated filter and transferring it to the burner nozzle line.
Fuel pressure is controlled by two pressure regulating valves, allowing the pump to switch between low-pressure and high-pressure operation based on burner requirements.
Excess oil is bypassed through the regulating valves and returned either to the return line in a two-pipe system or to the suction side in a one-pipe installation, ensuring efficient fuel circulation and stable pressure.
Since the pump does not always include an internal cut-off mechanism, fuel shut-off is typically managed by an external solenoid valve installed in the burner fuel line.
